Can't install latest iTunes update & Quicktime streaming keeps freezing
I'm having problems downloading the latest iTunes update on my MacBook Pro - it starts downloading then stops at around the 5MB mark, saying I'm not connected to the internet. I've tried connecting my router directly with ethernet cable rather than wirelessly but I get the same problem.
A similar thing happens when I try to look at Quicktime movies on the quicktime.com/trailers site - they start loading in Quicktime Player but then the download stops after it's loaded the first few seconds of the trailer. It does this with any movie I try to play.
It's definitely not a problem with my broadband connection as my friend's MacBook was able to download the iTunes update at the same time I tried and she has no problem downloading Quicktime movies.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
