Podcast Download Error (-39)

I've been unable to download a few podcasts and I'm getting the same error for all of them as follows:

"There was a problem downloading "(Podcast Name)". An unknown error occurred (-39).

Please check the URL is correct and the connection to the network is active and try again."

There are weekly episodes and I have been able to download most of them but some of them fail displaying the above error when I click on the white exclamation in the grey circle that appears to the left of the podcast name.

Is there any resolution to this? I have tried re-installing iTunes but that didn't work.

Thanks

A couple of things that can cause Podcasts to fail to download are if you try downloading too many at once. Okay, iTunes may only download two from the same source at any time, but if other episodes from that source are in the queue, I've known them to fail. The solution is to try them again after the others have finished downloading.

The other cause can be if your connection is too busy. Once again, for those problem episodes, try downloading just a couple, or even one at a time and while no other traffic is on your connection.

Any luck?

I had the same problem error [-39] when downloading a Podcast, and your suggestion seems to have done the trick.
First, under the "Downloads" window, I clicked the Allow simultaneous downloads box, turning off simultaneous downloads.
Then, I deleted the partially downloaded Podcast that gave me the error [right click< delete].
I then went back to the "Podcasts" section, clicked Refresh, and the error-ed Podcast downloaded normaly, with no problems.

I should not have a "busy connection" since I have broadband, but this does appear to be the solution.

Thanks fiend!
