Color labels via AFP not updating

Good afternoon,

I'm having some trouble with the color labels that are shared via the AFP protocol. In our setup we have some mac clients (iMacs, Mac Pro's) and one xServe. The xServe has some sharepoints that are distributed via the AFP protocol.

When a client adds a color label to a folder it does not show automatically on other clients. When the other client clicks on the colored folder the color pops up. In the past when you got the dirlist in your finder it showed every color for the appropriate folder.

Does anyone have a sollution for this problem? Many thanks in advance.

xserve, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

We are also having a similar problem in our office with the color labels over network shares. The color labels appear correctly when viewed directly on the file server machine. However when we assign or change color labels to network shared files *via the client machines*, they do not update when viewed on the client machines. The only way to get them to appear correctly on the client machines is to add or delete any other file to the affected folder, then the colors all update. Very annoying! Please somebody help! Thanks.
