New Mac Mini Adesso Wireless RF Keyboard Stop Working

I have a Adesso wireless RF keyboard (WKB-4000US) working perfect with the old mini. Now with the new mini, it won't detect the keyboard automatically upon restart. I had to manually pull the usb RF receiver out and re-plug it to establish the connection every time I restart the computer. Is anyone out there experiencing the same problem? Thanks!

Danny,

Try this:

1. Backup the IOBluetoothFamily and IOBluetoothHIDDriver kexts in /System/Library/Extensions

2. Copy the same kexts from your old mini. In my case, I upgraded to Leopard using a new hard drive so these files were still on my old Tiger hard drive.

3. Clear your cache. If you not sure how to do this, download Leopard Cache Cleaner and do a 'deep clean'.

4. Restart and pair your bluetooth devices using Bluetooth Setup Assistant. My Apple wireless alum keyboard and wireless MM paired immediately. They continue to paired after I restarted / shutdown.

Hey guys,
Did this work? I too have this same keyboard (the Adesso WKB4000US). It worked using it on my old Mac Mini, however it does not work on the new Mac Mini's that just came out. I am having the same problem.

One question, you mention bluetooth, however this keyboard is not a bluetooth keyboard...I thought it is just sends RF signals? Here is the website link:

This keyboard/touchpad mouse is a great Home Theater keyboard.

Let me know if this works & I will try it as well.

Only problem is that I don't have these old files.

Let me know what yall came up with.
