My ipod ejects immediately after sync

okay this is the story

i plug my ipod in and it does the syncronising then immediately after that it just ejects and says its okay to disconnect.

but since it does that all the time i can't put any new music, podcasts or videos cause it just ejects immeadiately. Also the ipod doesn't show up in the devices tab only until sync is done and when sync is done It ejects and i can't put anything on it.

ive tried putting things in the library before pluging the ipod in so it syncs it but it doesn't seem like anything changes when i do that.

Please help me =(

ok i posted this on a different thread. this is what i did. restore your ipod. if it doesnt let you restore you, connect the ipod click restore download the software then it will say extracting file when download is complete after it is done extracting it will say restoring ipod but the bar will not move. so what you do is disconect the ipod and connect quikly and it should restore. when its done restoring it will ask you for your ipod name put in whatever you want then under that unselect "sync ipod automatically
