Scrolling credits for Iphoto 09 slideshow

I've created a slideshow in Iphoto 09 that I want to have scrolling credits at the end and possibly change the title slide. I've always just exported the slideshow then imported it into Imovie HD to add the credits. I am curious if there's a faster way to do this, and if there's any way to access the slideshow in Imovie '09. I can't access any exported slideshows in Imovie 09 for the life of me. Thanks!

The slideshow is over 400 pictures long. IPhoto 09 Scrapbook theme allows you to have multiple photos on one "slide", which greatly reduces the time of the slideshow. Imovie 09 doesn't allow for more than one picture at a time (unless you do picture in picture, but that won't look good). I'll probably just stick with doing it in Imovie HD for now, unless someone else has another suggestion.

I already exported a iPhoto '09 scrapbook slideshow as a quicktime movie, and was able to import it in iMovie '09 with no problem. Are you sure you cannot do that ?
