I see the option in iTunes for Note Sync and it is checked and when I sync my iPhone I see Notes Sync but afterwards when did the notes sync to? I don't see them in iTunes.
Good evening all. I show "No supported notes application can be found" but when I sync it says it's syncing notes. Where do I find my notes on my computer? PC Vista
Mine ended up in Outlook under the category of "Notes." Be sure to mark "Notes" for syncing in the "Info" tab of your iPhone in iTunes. If you don't, they won't sync.
They are apparently supposed to sync to the Mail app...
but I've tried repeatedly, and no notes syncing is occurring for me. No syncing initially, no syncing after application and device and computer restarts, no syncing after creating new test messages on both iPhone and in Mail. No syncing of notes. If this wasn't after waiting for 2 years for the addition of this obvious function (and still no To-Dos? really?),
I might be a bit more patients that this wasn't working.
I'm guessing others must be having success with getting their notes to sync more easily? Any suggestions? Thanks.
Same here. The Notes Sync option uncheck itself at the time the sync begins. Will try the override mode...
...and the result is: THE SAME, no override no normal sync no notes back or forth!
Plug in the iPhone to start up iTunes.
When the phone shows click on it on the left panel in iTunes.
Go to the "info" tab and click on it.
Go down to the "Notes" and click on the "Sync Notes"
Now go down to the "Advanced" and click on the "Notes" block under the "replace information on this phone"
Now click on the "Sync" button in the lower right hand corner.
This should do the trick. Note that the boxes you checked will be reset automatically. Any future syncs will work without you checking the boxes.
Be very careful here. If you have no notes on your computer and you use the "replace" option you may overwrite the notes on your iPhone NO notes and lose your iPhone notes. This happened to me but I was able to bring them back with a restore from my iPhone backup.
I finally got it to work by creating one note in my mail application on my PB and then syncing. Apparently it helps to have at least one note on each device before syncing.
