Safari MIME plug-in

Does anybody know if there's a MIME plug-in for Safari? I am trying to listen to an overseas radio (via website) station and it keeps directing me to a Windows Media Player plug in. I'll be ****** before I use Microsoft products on my Mac.. no way to do it with Safari? not a big fan of Mozilla either..

Thanks!

Hi There

You most likely need Flip4Mac ( http://www.telestream.net/flip4mac-wmv/overview.htm) to play the audio from the website, Microsoft discontinued the media player for mac a while ago and only post the Flip4Mac link as a convenience to users.

Hope this helps

Hi Zsitva,
Unfortunately most Israeli websites are written specifically for IE. The local website builders don't take into account that there are other browsers and other platforms. The only solution that I can suggest for a 'richer' (ironic!) browsing experience in Israel, and I loathe to admit it, is fire up Boot Camp or Parallel. Either that or petition the web page builders 😉
