I have one handycam that use mini dvd ( 1.4 GB), I am in doubt if I can insert these mini dvds inside the disc drive of my Imac, can they be eject?
Thanks
Although you are posting in the category for the original iMac G3 with a CRT, it sounds like you have a newer iMac, with a slot-loading optical drive. Do not put any non-standard size disc in a slot-loader drive. It will get jammed inside.
However, there have been a few iMacs with tray-loading optical drives, such as the first iMac G3 models and the iMac G4. You can use non-standard discs, if the optical drive is a tray-loader.
Hellogeorgemg.
As the others have indicated, he small disks could be big problems.
The other 2 posts seem to hit it right on.
IU would like to offer one work around I used.
I had purchased an external Iomega burner for my 350 slot-load.
This burner is like a tray loader, that is it has a tray you drop the disk into.
This works with the small sizes. You could find a burner inexpensive on e-bay
and could help you with the camera usage...........Jim
