iTunes error when iPhone is connected

I am having problem with the iTunes (8.1) on my Mac Pro. Every time an iPhone (original or 3G) is connected, i will see this message:

+iTunes was unable to load dataclass information from+
+Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later.+

On Console, i see these messages:

When i click OK to get by the message, i am able to see my iPhone and it appears that i can synchronize with it. However, one thing that i have noticed is that the backup is failing. In the ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup folder, there are several folders that are named using the UDID of my iPhone. If i delete all the folders, and i force iTunes to perform a backup, it should recreate a folder using my iphone's UDID as its name and it should populate the folder with backup information from my iphone, with files ending with .mdbackup, .mddata and .mdinfo. However, when i force a backup in iTunes, only the folder and a file called Info.plist is created. I do not see a Manifest.plist, Status.plist or any of the .mdbackup, .mddata,. mdinfo files. The Console log generates similar error messages as shown above when i tried to backup my iPhone.

These are what i have tried unsuccessfully so far:

- Uninstall iTunes, clean up all iTunes related preferences file, /System/Library/Extensions/AppleMobileDevice.kext and /Library/Receipts/AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg.

- Restart Mac Pro

- Reinstall iTunes (8.1)

Anyone else experienced this problem ?

Mac Pro (early 2008), 2 Quad-core 2.8 GHz, Mac OS X (10.5.6), 6 GB RAM, ACD 23"

I fixed the problem.

In addition to deleting /System/Library/Extensions/AppleMobileDevice.kext and /Library/Receipts/AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg, i got rid of /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework. After i re-installed Apple Mobile Device support from the iTunes 8.1 package, the error message no longer showed up when i connected my iPhone.
