Astra 6400

Trying to get my old firewire Astra 6400 scanner to work with image capture, they do not provide a driver for osx.
Anyone know of a generic driver that will work?

I think that VueScan:

supports that scanner, but you had better check with them first that this applies to OS X, as well as Windows (which requires CyberViewX to be installed as well).

However, the driver for OS 10.2 and above from here:

http://downloads.zdnet.co.uk/0,1000000375,39411959s,00.htm

should work if you don't want to pay for VueScan.

VueScan supports the Umax Astra 6400, and is probably the best Scanning SW ever...
