My ipod touch screen has a hairline crack What should i do?

I bought my ipod touch 2g from tesco (Im in the uk) and it has a very small hairline crack.
What should i do? can i get it fixed for free as it is so small. i only bought it on the 7th of march.

I did not cause the crack. It kind of appeared over night, in a way.
