Dual Screen Not Going Into Standby

Hi All,

I've attached a second screen to my iMac and am using it as my main screen. The problem that I have is that since I changed the screensaver, my machine NEVER goes into automatic standby!!

I've tried everything, fiddling about all with the settings, removing the second screen but NOTHING WORKS!!

CAN ANYONE HELP??

What screen saver is it?

Try creating a new user and then test with the same screen saver there

Hi Geoff,

I'm using the Cosmos screen saver.

I tried setting up a new account and didn't change any of the settings and it still wouldn't go into standby!

Any more ideas?

I realised it was Microsoft Office booting up it's database thing on launch. I had to delete it which gives you the problem of a window popping up every time you open a Office application telling you there's some problem, other than that window I haven't noticed any though!
