new phone, anybody got SAMSUNG SPH-M540 working?

Hey, long story short my razr was pretty reliable.. but it'd cost me more to replace battery than getting new phone. So I went to wally world (walmart) and got a SAMSUNG SPH-M540.. Prob is I can't get it to sync in isync.. says it's not supported. It connects fine in usb or bluetooth but get nada for syncing. If anybody got it working please reply or msg me offline.

Thanks,
Geo

The Samsung SPH-M540 (like most Samsung phones) is not compatible with iSync.

The list of iSync compatible devices is here, and a list of third-party iSync Plugin providers is here.

There doesn't seem to be a third-party iSync Plugin for this phone either.

It's always advisable to check iSync compatibility before buying a new phone, if the ability to sync your Contacts and Calendars is important to you.

At this stage, your only options are to forego syncing, or return the phone and choose one that is compatible with iSync.

I know how you feel! I just got one for my Birthday, it looks like a great phone. But no syncy 😟 I haven't had any luck finding any third party plugins either. But if I do, I'll make sure I write in and let you know. I found one old hint here http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20060127035921369 from OSXHints, it's old, but I'm going to try it out. You never know, might get lucky!
