Colour from a picture- finding the hex code

Here's the deal....I want the specific colour from the jersey in the image (see link below).

I want to use that colour as the background colour for my website I'm making using iWeb 09.

Is this possible, if so how?

Download and run Ipick. Go to the Color Picker pane and click on the top color bar. when the next color pane comes up click on the magnifying glass. Move the glass to your image and click on the color you want. That will give you the color. I got #3e7bab. It will depend on where you click because of the shadows, etc of the color.

If you have the Hex Color application installed you can do it all in iWeb. Add the photo to a page, bring up the color pane, use the glass to pick your color spot and to to the Hex Color pane that will be in the top tool bar of the Color pane in iWeb. There are numerous color pickers you can add to the default color pane.

where do I put the code that you got (#3e7bab)

I have no idea. I don't know where or how you want to use the color. If you put the photo in iWeb, bring up the Color pane, use the glass to select the color you can drag that color from the top bar down to one of the small squares at the bottom to save it for use by all applications as shown below:

Once you have it in the bottom you can apply it wherever you want.
