Can I uninstall/reinstall itunes without losing my library?

I'm having issues burning CDs, & of course Dell says it's not a hardware problem, I need to uninstall & reinstall itunes. How do I do this without losing any of my itunes library? I have hundreds of videos, as well as hundreds of songs in my itunes library, so the thought of losing it makes me ill...

P.S. I'm not very computer savvy, so dumb it down for me:)
