Where to Input HD in HDTV

I'm curious. If you have a HD camera and want to play back your video, where do you input it into a HDTV? And what kind of output cables are needed?

I have decided not to be an early adopter of an HD video camera, but I was wondering how I would watch it on my Panasonic HD TV that I have had for several years with very little HD to watch.

I haven't been able to find my manual, but I don't have any component inputs at the front of my HDTV, they are in the back. I have a CRT set and it weighs 175 pounds so one doesn't just flip it around easily. If I have to input the HD output of my camera in the back of my TV that would really be impractical.

I don't plan to get a HD camera until things settle down in the market, which apparently will be several years away. I was just curious what the early adopters were doing.
