Wireless printer on Airport Extreme network

I.m trying to add a Canon wireless printer to my Airport Extreme network. All the Apple manuals say I can connect a USB printer to Airport, but not a word about wireless printers. Not how to do it and not that I can't do it. Can it be done? If so, how?

Sorry to sound unqualified, but I have never owned a wireless printer. With that said it is simply a wireless not that would be set up I am guessing just like a computer. It needs and address, static or from DHCP, Network mask most likely 255.255.255.0, and probably a name. I do not see why this will not work for you. Are you actually trying to set it up or deciding on purchasing one?

Exactly. Your Wi-Fi printer is just another wireless client. I wonder if your Canon printer has both a setup guide as well as a user's manual. Might be worth a check.
