Not sure if this is the right thread... but when I verify disk permissions I'm getting....

I repair them and they all repair, and then I still get them... are these okay to have or am I screwed lol... I have bad luck 😟

Yes. Basically, Apple changed the structure of some of its packages without updating the repair permissions mechanism.

I have the identical unrepairable permissions plus perhaps a half-dozen more. Apple L-3 support indicated that that is the cause for the problem I'm having with managed accounts. The issue was bumped up to Engineering nearly two weeks ago. I am impatiently awaiting their response.

HI Blake,

It if helps any, ditto for what "Neil" said.

It's ok. I have the same permissions. This can happen after software updates. I wouldn't be surprised to see an update soon that will rectify this. It shouldn't have any effect on your Mac. Not to worry.

I'm having this issue as well. The reason I have been digging into permissions is because I have had freeze-ups and such in the past month. I have run every diagnostic test out there trying to figure out if it is:

Hardware
Software
User Accounts

One that I think is a bug is when using the screen saver for iTunes Album art my computer will randomly freeze up. This happens also when going to sleep, it will freeze up. Also when browsing the web and watching youtube video's it will freeze the browers, then freeze the finder, then other applications until nothing responds. Any idea is great.
