Copy Keynote Objects to Pages

Does anyone know how to copy graphics created in Keynote (especially those including text) across to form graphics in Pages?

When I use the normal copy/paste function the resulting graphic is reduced in size to fit the page, but the text keeps its original size and is not reduced proportionally. This usually results in a graphic that needs to be entirely re-worked in Pages.

Is there a fix or work-around?
