Why can't I transfer movies I bought off of iTunes to my iPhone?

Are you using the latest version of iTunes and iPhone software? And also, did you buy HD content or SD? High Definition content cannot be played on any of the mobile devices because their screens do not support HD.

I have the latest versions for iTunes and my iPhone. I have purchased movies from iTunes that are not in HD. I have the movies checked to sync to my iPhone, but they will not sync. Can anyone help?

Do you have sync all movies option checked in the Movies tab? Double check that. Also make sure that you are not manually managing your iPhone content. If none of these are true, try resetting your iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button for about 10 seconds (ignore the option to turn off the device). You'll see the Apple logo and then wait. Plug it in the computer and see if it still happens. If it does, then a restore is necessary.

I am having this same sort of problem with syncing the free copy of Twilight I got from buying the DVD. It sends over all the copies of the Office that I bought off iTunes, but the movie and the special features do not show up. They are checked off and everything.

I've done all the recommended items listed above to my iPhone. I still am unable to get my movies to sync to my iPhone. Please, can anyone help.

One thing that might help out.

Connect the iphone to the computer.
When the iphone shows up under devices on the left of itunes, right click, or control click, on the name of the iphone.
Choose reset warnings from the pop up menu.
Now try to sync the movie.
What error message came up if any?

I just tried this. No error messages came up. The movies still would not sync.
