Old mini vs new mini for video work?

I have a 2008 Mini c2d 4GB and I'm thinking about upgrading to the "new" mini.
My question is: will I gain any performance in video editing over my current Mini?
I will configure the new one exactly like my old Mini.
Software = iMovie 09 and iMove HD

Thanks,
Chuck

My brother and I have been playing with his new MAXMini, iMac, PM g5... He's currently testing it against the C2D MacMini 1.83 in my home theater.

At 1200x800 there's no difference between the two, so he says, once you get into 1600+ range YES. In a FCPS test we did earlier they new MacTels edged out the PM.

Xbench tests between the two show the new mini about 20% improved on average overall but what kills me is the OpenGL test shows the GMA950 almost twice as fast as the new one... 3 tests all in a row.
