Hello all.

As with a lot of my work, something interesting always rears its ugly head.

This time, I have a G3 PPC 600MHZ with the following problems:

The admin account PW is unknown.
The e-mail account (gmail) is unknown.
The user deleted Safari from the computer.
The CD drive is not working (won't accept CDs).

What I want to know ... is there a way to reset the password without having to boot to an OS Install CD?

I know I could simply install a fresh copy of the OS and let the customer figure out their passwords ... but I am not that evil nor rude.


(please note, the specs that may be listed with this post are NOT for the computer in question!)
