1080p 60hz issue with Mac Mini ?
I got a Mac Mini (the new 2009 version) and have it connected to my Sony Bravia 46W3000 HDTV thru the supplied MiniDVI->DVI adaptor then a DVI->HDMI adaptor and finally a HDMI cable to the HDTV (phew!).
1080 (1920x1080) resolutions works fine but when using 60hz my TV only get a 1080i signal (not 1080p). In 50hz and 24hz my TV correcty get a 1080p signal.
The same HDMI cable and HDMI port on the TV works perfectly with 1080p 60hz with my Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. So the problem is related to the Mac Mini.
Anybody else have this problem or have a solution for this?
