Hey everyone something happened to my phone and now I cant make any calls it just goes to say call failed. But I had my mom call me and it all went through. Help what do I do?? I restarted my phone but still same thing.

    Have you tried a reset (hold the sleep/wake & home button until the Apple logo appears)? Have you checked with ATT to see if there is a problem?

    I am also in souther california. today every time i tried to make a call it said call failed. I also couldn't receive. I noticed my phone kept going to no bars. Maybe they are just having a problem in Southern California? I have just done a reset. Will see if that helps.

    Hey bandit the weird thing is that my moms iphone is working and im in the same house with her hahah. Its still not working and I restarted it a bunch of times. I can receive calls just cant make them.

    Can anyone help or give me any ideas haha. I use my phone all day at work and I have work tomorrow and I start at 5 so I need it in the morning.

    I just called At & T who transfered me to apple. I can't make or receive calls. THey walked me through taking out the sim card and trying to make a call (failed), Restoring the phone through the computer. Phone still cant make or receive calls. Going to the apple store tomorrow. Could be hardware related or a bad sim card.

    Have you resolved your problem yet?

    I'd like to hear of any solutions as well. I'm in northern California and, on Sunday 3/29, stopped being able to make calls and, for the most part, receive them.

    Hey guys my phone finally started working. I dont know if it was an ATT network problem or what. But this morning if finally came back so I dont know what the deal was. I just kept restarting my phone and then just finally got over it and it worked.

    Back from the apple store. They tried restoring the iphone. It didn't work. They gave me a new iphone. I did ask the tech what he thought the problem was. He thinks it might be part of the modem quit working. Anyway i now have a phone that works. I hope this new one last longer than the two months my old one lasted.

    Good to hear. I've already restored a number of times, but nothing's helped. My appointment is on Friday. I actually called Apple support, but they ended up transferring me to AT&T (who hung up on me). I assume the Genius won't do that to me .
