6 Frame Audio Sync Issue with FCP 6.0.5

I've had something crop up on my system for the last 4 projects I have worked on. Clips are capturing fine into Final Cut, but when I play them back, they are exactly 6 frames off in sync. This happens to all clips that I work with. If I move the audio tracks 6 frames to the right, things sync back up, but I don't understand why this is happening. I've checked my capture settings and the audio/video sync box is checked in the user settings. Anyone have an idea what is making FCP lose sync on my clips?

They are not out of synce in QTPlayer. I am capturing with both a Sony DSR-11 Mini-DV deck connected via Firewire 400, and I am also using Screenium, a screen-capture utility to grab some video from the computer screen of a Web browser. I'm having sync issues all the way around. I tried changing the offset in the Playback Control tab from 4 to 0, but nothing so far has helped.

If they're not out of sync in QT, then you might try playing with more offsets in FCP.

'4' is a pretty standard offset for DV. You say you're seeing 6 frames out of sync, so try changing that to 10..see if that helps.

I see up to 28-30 frame offsets when working with DVCProHD, while DV is 4 and on occasion I'll see 15 when using DVCPro50.
