So this morning I went to power on my MBP (1st gen Intel) and on the grey boot up screen with the Apple logo, the LCD started flickering and then just went black. I have tried removing the battery and powering back on and everytime the same thing. I somehow got into the desktop one time but just as it came up the screen flickered again and went black.

Is it the LCD or Logic board that has burned out? Either way I guess I am scr**ed because both of these parts of pretty expensive.

I am really upset about this. My MBP just went out of the extended APP warranty like 2 months ago. My 23' cinema display for my G5 also has some weird distortion issues a just few months past it's APP warranty. Very frustrated.
