Dual monitor, but independent each other

Hi all,

I have a MacBook with a 13.3" display and an external LCD (operating system: Leopard Mac OS X 10.5.6). I would like to make the two monitors independent. I explain. I use the "spaces" application with 2 desktops:

Monitor1:
- desktop1: firefox
- desktop2: thunderbird

Monitor2:
- desktop1: openoffice
- desktop2: xcode

I would like to see desktop1 on monitor1, and desktop2 on monitor2. Is this possible?

Thank you very much.

Thank you for your answer. The problem is this: I have 2 monitor with 2 spaces each one, for example:

Monitor1:
- space1: firefox
- space2: thunderbird

Monitor2:
- space1: openoffice
- space2: xcode

When I'm in the space1 I can see firefox on monitor1, and openoffice on monitor2. When I'm in the space2 I can see thunderbird on monitor1 and xcode on monitor2.

Good, but not perfect, because with my configuration, it's impossible to see
- space 1 on monitor1 AND space 2 on monitor2
or
- space 2 on monitor1 AND space 1 on monitor2

only
- spaceX on monitor1 AND spaceX on monitor2

Thanks.
