Copy photos to Flash Drive

Select the photos (an an album may be the easiest way to assemble them) and go to the file menu ==> export and export them to a desktop folder - then mount the USB flash drive and drag the folder to the flash drive

To add to Larry's advice, be sure that the flash drive is formatted for Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Use Disk Utility to check this out and do the formatting if necessary.

That probably will not work on the PC - PCs like only PC formated mass storage usually (unless you have third party software to read other formats)

For non library photos a PC format is ok (it is the iPhoto library that gets ultra picky about the disk format 🙂 )

If those files are being exported from iPhoto then the Flash Drive does not have to be formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). In fact, as pics

will be used later on display them on a PC laptop.

then it’s best if the drive is left in a FAT format.
