Microphone adapter for 2g iPod Touch?

I recently installed Skype on my 2g iPod touch, and was looking into a headset option. I then found that the only headsets with decent headphones are upwards of £50. I was wondering if there is some sort of adapter that can split the single line in/line out jack on the iPod touch, into one 3.5mm line out jack (headphones), and one 3.5mm line in (mic). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
