Battery never calibrated in 5 years - problem if I do it now?

My battery is the original with a strength of 88% (according to widget).

I am contemplating calibrating the battery now. Considering the battery and everything else works properly might I have a problem now if I calibrate the battery?

Thanks

Gordon

Since battery calibration is recommended routinely as part of
a maintenance plan, there should be no problem in doing so
even at this late a date. You are only a few years and dozens
of intervals behind; and unless your battery escaped the recall
you still have come out ahead as far as general battery duration.
