iPod automatic sync is now one way

I use automatic sync for the iPod. Lately, although it does update changes made in iTunes into the iPod, it does not update play count, last played, or rating changes from the iPod back to iTunes.

It is still set for "Sync all songs and playlists." iPod software is up to date, and doing a Restore did not help the problem.

Any remedies for this? TIA.
