iMac G5 17" iSight 4GB RAM?

I posted here before regarding this issue but thought I would try again. I've put off upgrading an iMac G5 17" iSight 1.9GHz that I received a couple months ago. Now I am gearing up to do the upgrades. I am going to get a larger HD but my question here is about RAM.

This particular model iMac is supposed to take PC4200 DDR2 RAM. I've been shopping around for a good price and trying to find if possibly, in this day and age, if a 4GB module of PC4200 exists, it does not. However when I was at Crucial searching for memory they had PC5300 Ram recommended for this iMac. They only recommended the 512MB, 1GB & 2GB modules. But, they also have a 4GB module (PC5300).

My question to the community is, has any one ever attempted to install this module in the iMac G5 17" iSight model successfully. I would love to be able to upgrade this system to 4.5GB if possible.

MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz, PowerMac G5 1.8Ghz DP, PowerMac G4 533Mhz, PMac G3 Yosemite, Mac OS X (10.5.6), iMac G5 17" iSight

Sorry, I can't help you regarding this memory issue. The only thing I can tell is that even my Apple dealer sold me modules that didn't fit in the first time. All labels and specs seemed to be OK but the modules didn't work. So it seems to be very tricky.

But what about the HD? Did you manage it to install that 1.5 GB harddrive? Did it work?

I'm sure the community is very curious about that.
