Replacement system DVDs for iMac 2.66 GHz

Hi,

I have an alu iMac 2.66 GHz model, but have lost the system DVDs. I understand that if I provide the serial number to Apple, they'll issue a set of replacement discs. However I can't find any info on the support pages.

Who should I call/email about this?

Alu iMac 2.66 GHz, 4 GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Hello Adam:

Welcome to Apple discussions.

The easiest route would probably be to visit (or call) an Apple store. Alternatively, call Applecare and explain the problem.

Thanks Barry. I'll ring the nearest Apple store I think - I can't find an Applecare number on the Apple UK website.

Thanks, got through to Applecare. Replacement discs cost £99, so forget that! Guess I'm stuck with a non-functioning bootcamp then.

Your welcome, if you ever sell the machine you should include the discs so I would recommend either finding the old ones or saving up the money.
