i can't find it now, but isn't there a feature in itunes which allows you to find duplicate songs in your library?
dunno if it works for the ipod as well though.
if it doesnt, best way i can think of is to plug your ipod in, and sort songs by name, then you can see duplicates easily and delete them manually.
No, there aren't duplicate songs in my iTunes Library, just on my iTouch. Zune has a feature where you can access everything in your device. I guess I'm looking for something similar on the iTouch so I can delete these duplicate songs on my iTouch.
When I connect my iPod to the computer, and I go to Device, then File, the Show Duplicates is grayed out and won't let me open it. When I go to Library, it will allow me to Show Duplicates. This is where the problem is. I have no duplicates in my library, just on my iPod. What am I doing wrong? Can someone talk me through the steps please.
