Would it be possible to install 1TB HD in a Mac Mini ?

That´s my question:
Can I install 1TB HD in a Mac Mini? I haven´t read anything in Tech Specs
but I would like to do it if it were possible.
Regards.

No, it isn't possible to do it with a single drive; the largest 2.5-inch hard drive is 500 Gig.

But it is possible to remove the DVD drive in the newest Mini and replace it with a second 500 Gig hard drive ... for a total of 1 TB of internal storage.

A kit to do this was sold here:

Though frankly, just get a 1 or 2 TB firewire-800 external drive and that would be a lot easier.

+What I was thinking of is to have all my files in the Mini and then back them up in an external with TM.+

You could do what I do: I cloned my internal to a larger firewire external drive and made that external drive my startup drive. (I used the "free" feature of SuperDuper! to do the cloning.)

I have another external drive attached via USB, which I use for TimeMachine.
