Any way to forward Yahoo! Basic e-mail to either gmail or the Mail app?

I have basic Yahoo! email, and it doesn't allow you to forward your email unless you pay for Yahoo! Plus email. I really enjoy using the Mail app on my mac, but I can't find any way to forward my yahoo mail for free to use my Mail app on my mac.

Does anyone know a free way to get around this whole thing and get my yahoo basic email forwarded to my Mail app?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

not possible AFAIK. you do need a paid Mail plus yahoo account to make this work.
