Question

Can i use a HP monitor with Mac mini?

I have an HP monitor (my hard drive broke) the monitor still works, its fairly new. I don't want to buy an $800 monitor from apple, and i want a mac. So can i use a HP monitor with mac mini?

HP Pavilion, Intel centrino

Probably, given the correct adapter, but without knowing the specific model of monitor, no one can say for certain.

The new Mac Mini should work without problems with every new monitor and 1080p HDTV on the planet. I use mine with a 24" Samsung Monitor with DVI , a 42" Sharp 1080p HDTV with HDMI and a 47" Vizio 1080p HDTV.

I think you may have this sussed by now, but just to let you know. At work, my boss has just bought a mac mini for me and we've hooked it up to an HP monitor and it's really good. Sorry, I don't know what the adaptor name / model is but just wanted to let you know that yes, it's possible.
