Using the 'delete' key as 'move to trash'

hi guys
i have a macbook pro with a usb apple keyboard
i was wondering if i could set the usb keyboard's delete key to function as a 'move to trash' button instead of having to use function+backspace

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.2), iPhone 3G

Don't forget, you can use "Command + Delete" to move something to the trash.

I do not believe there's way to do that using native settings. You could use software such as Keyboard Maestro to assign that as a hotkey.
