passwords for rar files

i am using 'unrar' to open rar archives.

i found it in the downloads area of the apple site here, and it has been working just fine.

recently though i have downloaded some archives which are password protected.

when selected unrar doesn't pause for the password, it fires up, runs for a while and exits leaving an empty folder where the unpacked files should be.

is there an easy to use unrar application (other than stuffit) that someone can recommend which can handle password protected archives.

thanks in advance for the help.

my version (1.3) has no buttons other than the apple buttons.

the problem is that once selected untar doesn't ask for the password, it just goes and does it's thing which naturally has negative results.

is there a different version that you are using?

I've got one I downloaded from the apple website. it's unrarx version 2.2. it has a password button in the upper right corner.
