problem installing windows xp: error 769
System: Mac Pro Quad
Boot Camp Ver. 2.0 (mac side)
Windows ver to be installed: windows xp SP2(made sure about the version)
History: Had tiger and installed windows xp on another drive/bay - no issues.
Current problem:
Upgraded to Leopard - updated and all with Vista x64 on bay 3(full drive). But now I cant install windows xp on bay 2 at all. BCA helped create the partition but after starting the installation I got 2 errors:
1. An unexpected error (769) occurred at line 5182 in D:\xpsprtm\base\boot\setup\setup.c
2. An unexpected error (769) occurred at line 5199 in D:\xpsprtm\base\boot\setup\setup.c
After this it asks for a restart which doesnt happen. So I booted back to leopard and deleted the windows partition via BCA and tried different partition sizes to no avail.
Please HELP!
