My iPod wont let me listen to my songs or watch my videos!!!

I have a big problem! All of a sudden my iPod wont let me watch videos or listen to music! When I turn my iPod on and tap on the music icon the screen goes white for 7 seconds and jumps me back to the home screen! The same thing happens when I touch the video icon. Then when I go to settings>about it tells me that I have 0 songs and videos. What's going on???

Hi Shelton09az,

Does the issue persist if you tap the iPod icon and then Hold the Home button for ~7 seconds? This will force the iPod application to quit and the iPhone will return to the home screen.

If the issue persists after forcing the iPod application to relaunch, try resetting the iPhone by holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple logo as described here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305743

You can also try restoring the iPod touch, this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414 will walk you through restoring it.

Hey this same thing has happened to me also! Ok tlotally disregard whatever the person suggested before me becuase that doesn't work. U have to restore it

Ps I recomend taking it to an apple store if it persists like mine: I got a new touch
