Way to open list of .scpt files and save them as app bundle

Hi,

i do have a big list of .scpt files which i do need to save as Application Bundle from time to time (without start screen)

So right now i am wondering what might be the best way to handle that task.
I was thinking about automator or an applescript droplet ... any other ideas or even some code ideas ?

Best regards

my droplet code right now looks like this:

on open names
set myFileCounter to 0 as integer
repeat with this_item in names
set myFileCounter to myFileCounter + 1
set myPosixPath to quoted form of POSIX path of this_item
set myASPath to this_item
tell application "Script Editor"
activate
open this_item
-- HERE I MISS THE CODE TO SAVE THE .SCPT as APPLICATION BUNDLE WITHOUT START-PAGE
quit
end tell
end repeat
display dialog "You dropped: " & myFileCounter & " files to the droplet"
end open

any ideas how to realize the save as part ?
Best regards
fidel
