My Mac Computer Will Not Start Up

My Mac Computer has a problem. When I try to turn it on, when it shows the Apple Symbol when its loading up, it shows the Mac Symbol, but its flashing between The Apple Symbol and this symbol:

But in the same color as the Apple.



Please, help me. It won't go into it, it just does that.

Can anyone help me get into my computer, still keeping my harddrive?

Also a question mark. Flashing on white startup screen.

None of the keys work so far.
