I have used MS Office Powerpoint 2004 for my lectures. A company named CPS (Classroom Performance System) had a Powerpoint plugin for lack of a better term that allowed the class to have RF clickers that were collected by a receiver and fed directly into the CPS for Powerpoint program so that data collected was displayed as a graph so you could gauge class understanding of your lecture in realtime, or collect and save data such as when giving a quiz. Anyway, I recently upgraded to MS Office 2008 since all of the students are coming with that installed on their computers and I wanted to remain compatible only to find that Office 2008 has extremely limited backward compatibility with 2004. I am thinking of trying this with Keynote and was wondering if anyone else had any experience using CPS for Powerpoint presentation opened up in Pages.
Thanks.

I used CPS with Keynote a while back. When I was using it, there is no means at the moment to integrate the presentation and CPS like you could in PowerPoint. However, I simply switched back to Finder and used the CPS question tool from the Desktop.

Not as fluid, but Keynote is way prettier and more engaging.
