Upgrade HDD and software - Boxee or XBMC

1. Can I upgrade de hdd on the Apple tv? And if, how big can it be?

2. If I use Apple tv's software I can only play .mov files!? Can Boxee and XBMC play other fileformat then .mov? Can I use my iPhone as remote to Boxee and XBMC as I can with the original Apple tv software?

3. Can I use Plex on my Apple tv?

White MacBook, 1.83Ghz, 2Gb RAM, 250Gb HDD, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

there are no official HDD upgrades

boxee and XBMC are not part of the appletv software.

I know that boxee and XBMC are not a offical software to apple tv, but that was not the question either. And i wonder if I could upgrade my apple tv by change hdd and if how big disk can i use.

in case you didn't get it... this is an official Apple forum. discussion of hacking appleTVs and installing someone else's software are likely not to get answered and more than likely to get the post deleted.

you should post to a non-official apple forum is you really want answers to your questions... the Boxee or XBMC forums might be a good place to start.
