Podcasts not syncing with iphone

I have subscribed to several podcasts, but when I sync my phone to the computer with i tunes, I get the sync complete message, but the podcast is not on my ipod app in the phone. I have the latest I tunes and iphone software uploaded.

did you go to the podcasts tab and tell iTunes you want your podcasts to sync to your iPhone? if not, that would explain why you aren't getting them on your phone.

after you've connected your iPhone, in iTunes, click on your phone in the 'devices' section on the left. next, click on the 'podcasts' tab. figure out the settings you want, click save, and then sync. after the sync completes, you should have podcasts on your phone.
