how 2 make a bootable disc in leopard?

If the original disk isn't bootable, you're out of luck.

I am not sure you can make a Windows bootable CD/DVD on a Mac, however. It needs to follow the El Torito standard AFAIK.

You could try googling "Slip Streaming" for XP...they have several how to's that you can use on your Mac....

Also, you can change the .dmg to .img with out any affect on the image...

Did you say it had Windows Me (Millennium) on it? If so, there are many ways to make it boot and install without booting from the CD. You can boot from a Win98 CD or floppy boot disk and then copy the cab files to the HD and install Windows via the hard drive. If its XP/Vista/Win7 then this will not work.

you will have to download and compile smake from jorg schilling:
