Remove Hyperlink shortcut?

the only way would be by adding a keyboard shortcut to keyboard shortcuts system preferences. I just tried it and it doesn't work for this function. I'm not sure why, actually. but I guess this means you are out of luck.

Likely because the system has no way of identifying which specific hyperlink you are trying to delete.

Likely you don't even need to have the text actually selected. Just right click while over it and it knows the text underneath is a hyperlink.

no, this has nothing to do with it. keyboard shortcuts can in principle be made to any available menu items.
if you can access a menu item using mouse you should be able to make a shortcut to that menu item.

for example I can make a shortcut to add a hyperlink to a selected text. it ought to be possible to make one for the remove command as well but for some reason it doesn't work.
