Beatles Song at iTunes store?

This is pretty random but I was just trying to expand my collection of Beatles songs and cannot find a single album or song on iTunes by The Beatles. There's plenty of Beatles covers but no originals. Does anyone know why this is or am I just doing something wrong?

Beatles songs are not (and have not been) available for download from any store.

Yeah. I once looked all over for their music. Then reading the news found out that there is no site that has Beatles music.
